That's a hard one. I'm dual boot between Windows 8 and Ubuntu 12.04 right now on my primary machine, but Ubuntu is my default and what I use the majority of the time. I also have an all in one touch screen unit running Windows at my desk because I find there are just some little things that I can't do easily without it. My forensics box is Windows 7 Ultimate.

Linux has become so much more sexy and user friendly in the last few years that I'm often tempted to play, but in the end I always get frustrated by things that should be simple (drivers for graphics cards or NIC etc) and end up giving up on Linux for a few more months or years.

I'm not sure what it is about Linux but they can never seem to get it right.

This is a good time to shamelessly plug my newest blog entry on how to create a USB flash drive boot disk containing multiple Linux builds with just a few clicks of a mouse button. I've received feedback (email, no less) thanking me for the info, so I have high hopes it might actually be helpful
