LANSING ��“ On June 27, Private Investigators John Sydenstricker of John Sydenstricker Investigations, LLC of Beaverton and Peter Psarouthakis of EWI Associates in Chelsea attended the ceremonial signing of HB 5274, the Professional Investigator Licensure Act by Governor Granholm in Lansing.

The newly revised law now requires a PI license for Computer Forensics, electronic tracking of vehicles and people, and bug sweeps if it is done for hire, in addition to the sweeping changes to the act passed in 2002.
