It was locked with unknown user lock.
It had FRP locked.
The BL/phone was locked.
The method should work for all Kirin 659 with Android 8 and Android 9 (but I tested only on Android 8).

I can confirm that he method worked on a Huawei ANE-LX1 as well!

After exhausting testings on more then 10 different devices I can say the method works for all Kirin 659 devices locked with 4 or 6 numbers PIN.
If locked with password, the method also works with dictionary attack.
