hi guys, I am a new to forensics world, so bare with me please.

I wanted to know If I found logmein that was installed in a computer, how can I tell if someone has been using it remotely to enter my computer (can they actually enter without getting a password from the user like in ammy???)

can I trace who logged in from logmein, does it keep the ip of the computer that it is connected to???

thanks in advance to all these who reply.

As I recall it doesn't store much. It might store it for a short amount of time, but deleted after that for efficiency. As for being able to login without a password that is incorrect. Logmein requires authentication from the OS, adding an extra layer of security. Of course if you do not have a password, that is a different story.
