Good afternoon,
I have a locked handset and the security code according to the backup 308 file is 12345.
This code does not unlock the handset.
Any Ideas?

have you got access to j.a.f. box ?this should read out your code

I've seen this happen myself and there are a couple of things you could consider.
Firstly, the code might have been entered incorrectely a number of times. Try leaving the handset powered on for 15-30 minutes and try again.
Otherwise it seems that the 12345 is a legacy thing - it's present in the PM but the passcode isn't actually stored there - we've seen this with newer handsets a few times now, really frustrating when you can see the "passcode" but it just won't work!
