openSSH, netcat, etc

good morning guys, I'm the new guy here.

I've read on various posts that openSSH has been installed and used to assist in the acquisition of mobile devices, particularly iPhones. I currently use Cellebrite and Device Seizure, but having the ability to create a dd image of a mobile device is attractive.

Would someone mind describing the process and how it works? I am unfamiliar with openSSH and the other tools needed to make this work.

Anyone willing to start from level 0 and walk me through the process would be greatly appreciated.
