I like to get ahold of practice images or challenge images to stay up on skills and test my forensics tools. I would love to get ahold of the DC3 challenge images. Would love to find some with stego etc.

Anyway, I'd like to ask everyone if they know of a good practice images with scenarios or an answer sheet of things I should have been able to find.

Here is the a link to the site I know about that has a few. You'll need to go into the tool testing section

Thanks in advance,

Jon

BitHead,

I had forgotten about the CFReDS project. Thanks for the reminder. I was not aware of the last one.

Thanks for the links!

"Robert-Jan Mora from Hoffmann Bedrijfsrecherche bv in the Netherlands has very kindly contacted me to let us know about a forensic challenge that they're running in conjunction with Linux Magazine (also in the Netherlands). The challenge can be found here"

Also, check out the "Archives" area of the Digital Forensic Research Workshop. They have posted a "Forensics Challenge" for the past few years to encourage the development of new forensics tools. The sample disk images make for great carving practice!
