Hi
I read in a previous post http//www.forensicfocus.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=636
that when deploying live response tools to rename the executables to prevent them overwriting data in the Prefetch directoryy. I'm wondering why this is good practice? And what is the data that they are prevented from over writing through being renamed?
