I am having a problem trying to download SIFT of the SANS portal, and I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem, and if anyone had a solution.
I log in using my SANS portal account, and click on the download link. It then asks for a user name and password. I have tried my registered e-mail address and password, and user name and password, and neither works. Is there something that I am missing?
I tried using IE, Firefox, and Chrome and I have the same problem with each browser.
Any help will be appreciated.
There have been quite a few people that have had difficulties. There were some issues with the round-robin server assignments and a few other issues. My suggestion, be patient and try at off-hours.
I have experienced the same issues. And "off hours" probably means in a week or two.
you have to be *directly* connected to the web .. no proxy in between.
I have it happen occasionally as well. I usually try again in an hour or so and get in.
