I am trying to recover deleted text messages from an Alcatel 871A. It's not a smartphone so I don't think I can directly use any software tool. I thought the only way to do it was to extract the data directly from the flash memory but I don't even know if that is possible, especially without desoldering it. Can you guys recommend any better solutions? I am willing to pay for a working solution.

I see that it has a USB port. I would be very surprised if none of the tools in the market could deal with this phone…

Try .XRY or UFED. Both of tools support this model.
