Hi guys,

I have a problem getting two enterprise SSD's from Samsung with U.2 (SFF-8639) interface to work. The exact model is PM983 2.5" 960GB (PCIe Gen3). For reading such models we use adapters from delock:

https://www.delock.de/produkte/G_62721/merkmale.html?setLanguage=en

https://www.delock.de/produkte/G_84819/merkmale.html?setLanguage=en

But the mentioned SSD's are not recognized via a Tableau TDA7-2 write blocker via a T356789iu universal blocker.

Do you have any other ideas to make these SSD's work? Unfortunately we don't have any other devices with a U.2 or M.2 NVMe interface.

The original device isn't available.

With kind regards & thank you!

Were you ever able to acquire the U.2 drive? There could be an incompatibility between the cable/dlock adapter combo and the TDA7-2.

Tableau has a U.2 adapter compatible with the PCIe interface on the write-blockers. The adapter part number you need is TDA7-4
