Why are the cellebrite people quiet on this lol . Good job oxygen. Do you have a solution for hauwei models?

For Huawei devices we have 3 regular methods - logical extraction with OxyAgnet utility, Android backup and physical extraction via rooting.

Tom, if you have this particular device Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge LTE-A (SM-G925F) you can try our new method "Samsung dump via custom forensic recovery" in Oxygen Forensic Detective. It allows to bypass screen lock and do physical extraction on supported Samsung Android devices. The above mentioned model must be supported. You can contact our support for more details.

OxygenSoftware Does this affect the Knox fuse? I don't have the detective edition to test this myself, unfortunately.

Yes, the Knox counter is affected. But it does not affect system and user data.
You can contact me in PM or our support team for a Detective demo license.

Thank you. How about access to any existing Knox containers?

Some apps may store their data in Knox containers. At the moment we do not decrypt it.

I received a Galaxy S6 Edge which was fingerprint locked and unfortunately the forensic software I have cannot bypass or remove this type of lock.

In addition, this handset is not supported for a JTAG.

Has anyone successfully read the UFS chip from this model of Samsung?

If so, how did you do it?

Chip details

SEC 504
E0B1
KLUCG8G1B0
N88260A6

Dimensions - 13mm by 11mm.

I have contacted UP who make the adapters I currently use to read chips, but they haven't got back to me.

Many thanks
Tom

Tom, I can do it for you with chip-off.
You can see my the latest chip-off case here http//www.weare4n6.com/forensic-analysis-of-flash-friendly-file-system-f2fs/

@ursdestiny

You asked about Huawei.
A physical with lock bypass solution for Huawei devices (some of the Huawei chipsets) is coming soon to a UFED near you.

Yes. We can extract data from an UFS memory chip.

Hi guys, i have to bypass the lockscreen (pattern lock).

After installation of oxygen forensic detective u would create a “Samsung Android dump” of a Samsung S6 Edge+ (Type SM-928F). All drivers were successfully installed (showed in device manager).

First I choose the option “Physical data acquisition –Samsung Android dump”.

On next screen I selected the device, Samsung S6 Edge + (Type SM-G928F)

Then I started the device, press power home and volume down + volume up button to enter the download mode.

Then I connect the device successfull to the computer. The device was detected.

So I would upload the forensic recovery image to the device. I got a error message on smartphone and a program-crash-message.

Is there a solution for this problem, maybe bypass the frp lock?

Here are the phone-details in download mode

I try to install a forensic partition i got a error message. There is a frp lock. Is there a solution?

Thanks in forward.
