Has anybody had any luck with imaging a Sandisk 16GB solid state HD that has the zif connector on it?
If so what tactics did you use?

I would personally just image it with a write blocker utilising a write blocker. You can easily find a ZIF to SATA converter on the internet even tableau make one
We get plenty through data recovery with standard logical problems and they image fine this way

Or, if you have issues with the ZIF ~ SATA connection on the write blocker, use a forensically sound live-cd to image the drive.
