Scalpel.exe error on Windows 10 VM: unable to open image file

Hello,

I am new to forensics software and was playing around with Scalpel.

I ran the following command in my command line in Windows 10 Virtual Machine (in Virtual Box):

Scalpel.exe unknownChunk

And received the error:

Scalpel was unable to open image file: unknownChunk.........No such file or directory
Skipping...........................

This was not the case when I ran the same command in my local machine (which is a Windows 11). Scalpel successfully file carved as intended and retrieved the necessary files.

Is the error something related to the virtual machine? or does it relate to my commands?
