I still have not been able to get my Samsung J7 SM-J700T passcode pin unlocked. I am trying to find an affordable service that may be able to help me with that, without any data loss. Any feedback would be appreciated.Â
J700T is not encrypted by default, so if it wasn't encrypted by user, worst case scenario, without access to forensic tools, you can use ISP and flasher boxes (like UFI, Easy-Jtag, Medusa, RIFF) to extract the data from the device.
@arcaine2 Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. So what is ISP and flasher box method. I never encrypted it. I do know that but can you explain that process? I'm somewhat new to this. Thanks
@arcaine2 also I've read about EFT dongle, do those actually work as well? Do you know of any companies that provide that service?

EFT Dongle has an eng-root file for J700T with binary 3 firmware and Android 7.1.1, which seems to be the last available firmware. Eng-root are engineering boot images with enabled ADB that does not requrie auth, and root access. If yours has matching firmware and phone doesn't have secure startup enabled, then yes, EFT should be able to remove the passcode.

To be honest... making the request again I find suspicious. Why is the data so important? Where did you find the smartphone?
@plan_b why would I be willing to send my phone to a company that offers a service to bypass pin if it wasnt my phone. The simple fact is I dont owe you a explanation. Thanks for the help though.
@arcaine2 thank you for the reply, I am going to look into that today. I appreciate the feedback.
Haven't used in a long time but doesn't cellebrite have a  J7 SM-J700T password bypass/unlock in ufed?
XRY, UFED, Oxygen.. pretty much any commercial software can bypass the lock code without affecting the dataset. But none of the companies I know of offer the service for private users. At least that is my knowledge.Â
