Dear all,
I should acquire the content of a SIM card. Which SIM card reader do you suggest?
Do you know if exists SIM card reader with write blocker functionality?
I would like to analyze the content of the SIM card using open source software.
Do you have any experience and recommendation?
Thank you in advance
Best Regards

- Cellebrite sim card extraction is the best commercial tool for this
- For Open Source software, acquire the image of the SIM Card using FTK Imager and Analyze that in AUTOPSY
- Download Autopsy: https://www.autopsy.com/download/

@liguoroa Cellebrite UFED has a complete hardware solution with the source device and destination support for SIM Card extraction.
Hello.
I went to Fleabay and actually bought 3 different ones for that purpose.
To say any of the 3 worked all the time would be unfair.
However, the overall investment was somewhere near $60US and each had their own CD driver plus micro/nano adapters.
Hi you can check ACS readers,

or Rocketek

Good luck

Dear All,Â
I bought a Mediacom USB 2.0 Smart Card Reader + Card Reader. I payed about 25 Euros.
I also downloaded SIM Explorer (open source) from
 https://sourceforge.net/projects/sim-explorer/
and used it to analyze the SIM Card and produce an XML Report.
Â
I think it worked fine.
Best Regards
