I’m currently doing my third year at university and am doing at third year project.
Does anyone know of any research into Skype logging? For the purpose of hopefully creating a Skype product that will display Skype activity?

Many thanks Jordan

For Social Engineering resources, try Social-Engineer.org . They also have a podcast which is excellent.

For Skype, try Mark McKinnon's excellent Skype Log Parser tool. I've had great results with it on a couple of examinations. Skype Log Viewer from Nirsoft is good too, I am partial to Mark's though. Best part is that they are both free, so trying them out won't hurt your wallet.

Unfortunately SkypeAlyzer is not free - I have to make a living somehow )

However you can download the demo version which has limited functionality (it will only report on the first few records) but may help with your research.
