Hello,
Is it possible to get a buck-up file of sms.db table without jailbreaking the IPhone device? How?

Sms.db file is located in /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS/ folder and can be easily read with any forensic tool from non-jailbroken iOS devices. For example, you can choose logical extraction in Oxygen Forensic Detective software, extract this database and open it with Oxygen Forensic SQLite Viewer for detailed analysis.

If you do an itunes backup, within the backup folder you'll find a file named 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28
This is sms.db
Just rename it sms.db and that's it. You can view it in your prefered SQLite Browser.
