Hello All….

I am working on several very large Exchange 5.5 priv.edb files. They are around 120GB to 160GB in size. I have found that they are corrupted and NEMX, PT42, and exmerg wont process them. I was able to get ESEUTIL from SP4 for Exchange 5.5 but I also have to run ISINTEG to repair the logical structure of the priv.edb files. Problem is that to run ISINTEG you have to an operational Exchange 5.5 environment from what I can tell.

What I need help on is locating possibly for download any version of Exchange 5.5 (eval copies from training materials will work) or will purchase licensed copy.

Secondly, if any of you have suggestions for repairing corrupted .edb files I would appreciate hearing them.

Nate

Have you tried any of the demos of Exchange recovery tools just to see if they work?

Recovery for Exchange Server 3.1
Advanced Exchange Recovery

Not sure where to direct you for a legit copy of 5.5, but I would think someone in Dallas would have a copy (have you called your local MS rep?).

If you don't find one, send me an email at jeff@pns724.com I do have at least 5 of those 120 day versions of exchange 5.5 buried in a box somewhere.
