Our unit supports Digital Forensics in different countries across the World. We are looking for to acquire a laptop computer that can support with on site imaging and analysis. At times we can image and process upto 10Pcs with between 500GB-1TB HDD/SSD. Any advice on the laptop/gaming computer Specs, price ranges?

We use Lenovo Thinkpad workstations.

The 17" models can have up to three internal SSD drives installed and up to 128GB of RAM.

I like to have three internal SSD drives in case I need to present evidence at trial; I can have forensic images on one internal SSD drive, the forensics database on the second internal SSD drive, and the OS on the third internal SSD drive.

If you call the Lenovo business sales line, they can give you a significant discount off the internet advertised price.
