I am curious to learn whether any of you independent forensics examiners successfully do sub-contract phone analysis for other labs? It's something I am thinking of doing (as a sub-contractor) here in the Midlands, but I am unsure whether it is commonly done…………

It is done. I know of a few companies that sub contract phones out.
