Generally no. Not by UFED or other softwares from other vendors. Who would use it if it would be so insecure ?!

Be more explicit, tell us what you already got, what kind of extraction, what software version, etc. There are only stupid answers for stupid questions 🙂

The Cellebrite website says "Cellebrite supports digital data extraction from Telegram for investigators to gain insight into a suspect’s everyday activity – including their contacts, chats, channels, calls, locations and even the passwords used to lock the app."

Sounds like it does do it (unless it's just marketing). I've definitely got Telegram data using it - can't remember about the password specifically.

Hashcat also supports telegram hashes: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes

Users may really set a password to lock the Telegram app. While extracting Telegram data, f.e. in Oxygen Forensic Detective, we bypass this lock and get all the evidence without knowing the password. Moreover, this password is not used to encrypt data.

The question was to hack (find) the Telegram password (using UFED). I think that's a no.

Bypassing it, well, that's something else, I can confirm it's possible with OFD 🙂
