Hi there.

I am currently doing a forensics assignment and was wondering if there are any decent open source reporting tools out there? Will be starting my final report soon and would like to have the data i have collected not be let down by my presentation.

I have a lot of .eml files that i will include in my final report that are text heavy and was wondering if there is any software that will graphically depict the timeline of the emails so that they are in an easy to interpret format?

Also, the hypothetical case that i am working on has multiple suspects that have interacted with the victim. Is there software that i can use to make easy to read diagrams showing the relationship and interactions between suspects and the victim? Possibly i could use UML or something similar but is there anything tailor made for this already?

Any help is much appreciated.

i2 Analyst's Notebook is widely used for that kind of thing, but it's not cheap.
