Hello,
Â
Does anyone know what this DNS entry: tr.snapchat.com refers to? I see it in my DNS Domain lookups. I am trying to see what part of SnapChat it corresponds to and need to know if SnapChat is being used.
Downloading the SnapChat app and going to the website generate obvious SnapChat website DNS entries and app APIs as well. However, this entry: tr.snapchat.com just populates and with no other tall tail signs that it is coming from the Snapchat website or app.
Tracking pixel... Seems to be a way of tracking advertisements from Snapchat. https://businesshelp.snapchat.com/en-US/article/snap-pixel-about

That is exactly what I was thinking. Thank you for the reply.
I have the same thing showing up...is it just an advertisement or something?
So it looks like some streaming services might use this as well. I noticed this address was being used when I clicked on details on an item in Hulu. This was in a Tesla theater Hulu app, but I'd assume the same is used across the board (website, app, ect)
