I am having trouble imaging a test Samsung Galaxy Nexus CDMA. Doing a physical extraction, reports 92 hours and some change. After a couple hours of imaging, it fails and says it can't read the device. I haven't been able to play with the UFED much, but is 92 hours reasonable to do a physical extraction on a 32GB device?

I figured I try updating the Samsung Support EPR file. I downloaded from Cellebrite but have no idea what I do with the EPR file after I have it. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

My UFED classic has all the latest firmware after updating a couple days ago.

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Once you download the EPR file, you should place it on a USB drive or SD card and plug to the rear USB port or SD card slot.

Yes, it is possible that it will be that long.
UFED Touch does that up to 10 times faster.

Thanks Ron. I did place the ERP files on an a USB drive and plugged it into UFED. I thought it might be the same way I updated the firmware but the files don't show up as possible updates. Tried going into updating APP and firmware if I recall. Only thing I see is the 1.9.0.0 update on the USB drive.

On UFED Classic these EPR files should be present on a USB drive ( or SD card) connected to the UFED at one of the back USB ports during the extraction. These are not like firmware update files that are pushed once to the UFED Classic.

UFED Touch does not need these EPR files, they are all integrated into the UFED Touch firmware.

Please contact support to get faster answers.

Thanks Ron. I didn't realize the EPRs were stored off device and the USB drive had to be plugged in. I appreciate the help
