Hi all,

Looking into a large amount of Xentry vehicle data log reports.
The logs were acquired by the insurance company from the vehicles after an accident occurred.

The challenge here is to identify all vehicle logs in which the vehicle operator didn't apply the brakes prior to impact.
At first (and second) view I see little to no usable brake related data in these logs.

Does anyone on this list have any experience with the analysis of Xentry vehicle log data?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Lex

Software version of the SDconnect muxer? Are you familiar with MB Distronic/Plus? Do you know over which protocols the brakes by wire run in the involved vehicles (changed over time)?

Hi TinyBrain,

Thank you for your feedback.

I am aware of, but not familiar with, the software / hardware you mentioned.
The challenge here is that only the reports in pdf format are available for research.
They encompass several models of MB vehicles, both relatively new and older.

Trying to read the data concerning brake pedal usage but I am unable to correlate that information to the collision dates / time.
There are multiple brake related events in each document that might or might not be related to the collision.
There are several brake event numbers but i don't see corresponding event dates, therefore I am asking myself if Xentry logs can be used for this purpose at all.

Rg,
Lex
