Warrants - Microsoft and OneDrive

Does anyone here have experience sending warrants to Microsoft seeking files from OneDrive? Our local PD sent a warrant over recently for a managed account, e.g. for [email protected] not @microsoft.com. Microsoft said that they had no record of the user but we've confirmed that the username/email is correct (although it's locked by the org due to the activity in question). Do you normally provide any additional information to help identify the account? Is there a particular issue with managed accounts that are under a domain not owned by Microsoft?
