Anyone know if they have gone out of business or merged with someone else?

Their website hasn't been updated since May 2016 and I can't find anything elsewhere to indicate what happened.

The reason I ask is that there appears to be some questions around IEF's EULA and the ability for practitioners to use the software to sell their services.

I will need to purchase something at some point and am starting to look around at possible alternatives to IEF if the licensing issue isn't sorted/clarified and SiQuest (or at least Cacheback) was a pretty good tool before SiQuest butchered it so I was going to have another look at their latest version.

IEF ? 😯

You mean IET, the Internet Examiner Toolkit that is actually abbreviated wink as IXTK (TM) roll

And which specific "questions" or "doubts" are there about its license?

Hi Adam,

There's been some confusion around the new EULA, but rest assured you won't have any issues using IEF as part of your business. Please reach out to me offline at jad (at) magnetforensics.com and I'll connect you with someone who can clarify things for you.

Thanks,
Jad

Thanks Jad, I will do.

Jaclaz, I probably worded my original post poorly, but it was IEF I was referring to, but I am also curious to know what happened to SiQuest's tool as well.
