Forensics Europe Expo (FEE) 2024

Forensics Europe Expo (FEE) returns to ExCeL London on 19th & 20th June and continues to cover the four key pillars of forensic investigation:

► Digital forensics
► Laboratory equipment & solutions
► Scene of crime
► Forensic analytics

The main theme for FEE 2024 follows the ‘From Crime Scene to Courtroom’ path and is based on three key strands: ‘Forensics 2026: Achieving our objectives’, ‘Managing emerging technologies’, and ‘Collaborations across borders and disciplines’.

Forensics Europe Expo (FEE) is now firmly established as the market-leading exhibition & conference for forensic science and investigation in Europe. The event continues to be the primary meeting place for global forensic investigation solution providers and senior buyers seeking to create rewarding business partnerships, as well as an educational platform for new technology and solutions.

FEE allows stakeholders in the global forensics market to assess new and evolving technology from leading international suppliers and manufacturers, attend educational seminar and workshop sessions on topical issues, and discover a range of innovative forensic techniques from 3D printing to artificial intelligence. It also provides invaluable opportunity for attendees to network with industry peers and stakeholders from across the world of forensic investigation.

Forensic Capability Network (FCN)

The Premier Event Partner to FEE this year, is the Forensics Capability Network (FCN).

FCN is the national network for forensic science in policing in England and Wales. Established in 2020, FCN is funded and led by the policing community through the NPCC and acts as an extension of the forensic teams in local police forces. FCN also brings together policing, academic and private-sector partners to collaborate on projects and share knowledge. The organisation provides access to national knowledge, advice and capabilities – whether that’s preparing for accreditation, accessing innovative research or procuring services through contracts and frameworks.

To date, FCN has helped more than half of all police forces prepare for accreditation, saved £100,000s in efficiencies through national projects on ground truth data, fire investigation and Sexual Assault Referral Centres, and secured more than £1m in additional forensic research investment.

FCN’s latest campaign, Swab Out Crime, aims to create the UK’s first Y-chromosome reference database to help put offenders behind bars and clear the innocent.
