Undergraduate Project Idea

Hi all,

I have just started my final year on at university studying Forensic Computing & Security, we have to create a report/ project along with software. We have to submit our ideas as soon as possible however I am having issues thinking of a project especially one I am capable of creating software for.

I have looked at the project Ideas page on here along with the wikipedia page, however those project ideas seem to be in my opinion a bit to much for an undergraduate project and seem more tailored to say a postgraduate project.

Anyway I am looking for other idea suggestions as I am really stumped and what to try and get a head start on my project so it isn't rushed. All my project needs to be is some sort of software to do with forensics or security.

Any ideas would be helpful and thanks in advance.
