Hi all, any development on this ? Would be interested to know as I currently working on imaging the M1 macbook. I understand the Target Mode Disk is longer available and tested the share disk I can only see logical files. And when I tried to acquire using SUMURI Recon ITR Demo on a test machine unfortunately it hangs. Thanks in advanceÂ
I am actually working with them as their solution isn't working as of yet.
@bootrom Hello, you may try llimager. It works fine imaging M1/M2 as well as intel's (with or without T2).Â
Fuji is the new kid on the block when it comes to imaging Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. It is free, open source software that provides you with a Full File System logical image, giving you the choice between different acquisition methods:
You need the credentials of the user account. If you want physical, you need hardware based cloning that can forensically mirror the source. There are methods to extract the keys in some cases depending on the complexity each case. Let me know if you still need help.
Digital Collector (current version) works fine for most modern Macs now (i've used it on a fair few M1 and M2 now and possibly M3 - can't remember).
