I found a new (to me) entry in a frostwire.props entry during a computer exam. It is…
AFTER_SEARCH_LOCAL_LINK=http\//www.frostwire.com/android/?from\=overlay

Anyone know what this function does? I assume its a link to an android phone that sends out an alert to the person's android when a download is complete…but that is a guess and as you all know a guess in this world means squat….

P.S. if a user shares their "desktop" in Frostwire does this mean all folders present on the desktop are subject to being shared? Or is it just the images/videos on the desktop that can be shared…. I would test this myself but sadly I don't have an anonymous box I can do this with.

If I remember correctly, when you share a directory in LimeWire or FrostWire, it shares all subdirectories (recursively).

Hence the rather bad problem of inadvertently (or foolishly) sharing C or "My Documents" (neither of which should be possible in modern LimeWire/FrostWire).
