Can anyone advice on how to acquire logical extractions on Xiaomi Mi device?

I have a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro mobile device that I need to forensically image. I am able to do backup extractions on the device but logical/filesystem or physical extractions either fail or do no produce any files after extraction. I know the device is supported by Oxygen but I can't get to work. Please assist!!!

Thanks.

Oxygen includes exploit for Qualcomm devices with SPL up to December 2020 and Android 10 only, and even that needs some luck to get working.

With anything newer, you should try UFED and Qualcomm Live option, but this may also need a couple (or many more) attempts as well.

@arcaine2 Thanks for your reply. What I have found with this particular device is, for you to carry out logical extraction, in addition to enabling 'USB debugging', you will also have to enable 'install via USB' and 'USB debugging (security settings)' which there has to be a 'Mi' account setup.

@fred-arc yes, that's common on Xiaomi phones, but instead of adding Mi account to be able to install apps from USB, you can just copy the agent apk (Oxygen Forensic Detective\Extractor\Agent) to the phone and install it using a file manager app on the device. This will allow you to bypass those restrictions.

UFED would most likely (depending on your luck sometimes) allow you to do a full filesystem type extraction with qualcomm live method.
