They are very excited to introduce Time Calculator Tool, the Timestamp Adjustment filter, PTS Playback, and Advanced Conversion Procedures. New Filter: Adjust Timestamp
Amped Software has a new filter that allows for timestamp adjustments! You now have the option of showing two timestamps: the original and the adjusted. Learn more here.
New Tool: Time Calculator
In order to assist you in preparation for your timestamp adjustments, there’s also a fantastic new tool: the Time Calculator! This tool is not only useful during the analysis process, but you can also use it whilst on a scene conducting a CCTV recovery, ensuring you are recovering the date and time parameters required.
New Feature: Fallback Procedures within Convert DVR
Fallback Procedures now allow all Amped FIVE users to attempt a temporary solution to proprietary video decoding, speeding up the initial stages of an investigation. Learn more here.
Load Timestamp
Amped Software now conducts a prior analysis of the timestamp file and warns you if there are inconsistencies between the frame count and timestamp values. Inspecting the file can help you identify what further processing may be required depending on your task.
Add Text
A new time macros within the Add Text filter has been introduced. Macros are a fantastic time-saver in presenting certain file information within your video or image.
Add Timestamp
This filter is required when timing information is visible or known, but not able to be used or processed.
Annotate
All the tools in this filter now have a ‘Render Flattened’ button to visualize annotations as they would be output within the video or image.
Sequence Writer
Amped Software has added a new Image Filename parameter to the output images.
PTS Playback
For this update, with all the new timing functionality, a new playback control has been developed: PTS Playback.
Formats
You now get decoding of 6 new video formats including the increasingly popular .bwv file format, plus 3 new variants and 2 new timestamps were also identified.
