The Role
This position supports a Department of Defense customer from a Lorton, VA office, conducting hands-on examination of computers, mobile devices, storage media, and other electronic devices. Day-to-day work encompasses digital evidence preservation, forensic analysis, electronic discovery, and contributing to cyber investigations and threat analysis in a collaborative team environment.
Skills & Experience
Candidates must be proficient with a broad range of forensic tools used to extract and analyse digital evidence to a court-admissible standard. Experience handling digital evidence, performing e-discovery workflows, and supporting cyber threat analysis within a DoD or national security context is expected. Relevant certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity are advantageous.
