The Role
This position involves collecting and analysing digital evidence from devices, storage media, cloud services, and networks to support financial crime investigations and legal proceedings. Day-to-day work includes tracing blockchain and cryptocurrency transactions, reconstructing digital trails, identifying patterns in financial intelligence, and preparing forensic reports and affidavits for law enforcement stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should demonstrate expertise in digital forensics methodologies, chain of custody procedures, and eDiscovery tools. Experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency transaction tracing tools is essential, alongside knowledge of financial crime typologies, data integrity principles, and the ability to produce evidentially sound reports compliant with relevant legislation.
