The Role
This position supports a Pentagon-based Security Operations Centre, conducting forensic examinations of digital devices and analysing potentially malicious code during active investigations. Findings are documented in clear, professional reports that inform defensive measures and feed into the broader incident handling lifecycle, from triage through to eradication.
Skills & Experience
An active Top Secret clearance is required, alongside DoD 8570/8140 IAT-II and CSSP-IR certifications. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least twelve years of hands-on experience across digital forensics, malware analysis, or incident response, including identifying threat vectors, indicators of compromise, and attribution.
