Analysts conduct forensic examinations of digital devices and data sources — including mobile devices, computers, cloud services, and removable media — producing detailed reports, supporting search warrant executions, providing expert witness testimony, and mentoring colleagues while maintaining rigorous chain-of-custody and quality assurance standards.

Skills & Experience

Hands-on proficiency with industry-standard tools is essential, including Cellebrite (Inseyets), Oxygen Forensic Detective, Magnet Axiom, GrayKey, Nuix, and X-Ways. Analysts must be comfortable working across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and cloud environments, and should have experience presenting technical findings in legal proceedings.
