The Role
This position sits within a central mobile forensics laboratory, supporting criminal investigations through the forensic preservation and analysis of digital storage media. Day-to-day work includes advising on investigative measures, supporting police operations such as searches, producing court-admissible expert reports, and appearing as an expert witness.
Skills & Experience
Applicants require a relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital forensics, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline, plus at least one year of practical experience. Working knowledge of Windows (XP through 11), Linux distributions, and macOS is expected, alongside the ability to develop and adapt forensic software tools.
