Senior Forensic Developer

The Role

This position centres on designing and building specialised forensic software for federal cybercrime and digital evidence investigations. Day to day, you architect low-level capabilities covering file system parsing, memory analysis, binary dissection, and investigative workflow automation, collaborating with forensic analysts, crypto engineers, and cyber operators to deliver court-ready tooling.

Skills & Experience

Candidates need advanced software engineering proficiency combined with strong digital forensics tradecraft, including hands-on experience with operating system internals, volatile memory analysis, and binary data processing. Experience building tools that meet evidentiary standards and integrate into mission platforms is essential; a relevant certification such as GCFE, GCFA, or EnCE is advantageous.
