The Role
This senior position leads digital forensics and incident response operations in support of a Department of Defense cyber forensics laboratory. Day to day, the role involves directing forensic examinations, overseeing malware and intrusion analysis, managing evidence handling and chain-of-custody compliance, and coordinating with government stakeholders across active investigations.
Skills & Experience
Candidates require deep expertise in host-based forensics, network intrusion analysis, memory analysis, and malware triage across Windows, Linux, macOS, and mobile platforms. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, endpoint security tools, and intrusion detection systems is expected, along with working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards and DoD operational environments.
