Digital Forensics Analyst

The Role

This position sits within an ethics and employee concerns function, conducting digital forensic investigations into workplace matters. Day to day, the analyst acquires and preserves digital evidence, performs forensic imaging, conducts malware and registry analysis, supports internal and external investigators, and produces clear, defensible written reports of findings.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should bring hands-on experience in forensic acquisition, file signature analysis, data carving, Windows registry examination, and intrusion artifact analysis. Familiarity with chain of custody requirements under the Federal Rules of Evidence is essential, as is the ability to decrypt seized data and work to forensic best practices at a senior specialist level.
