The Role
This position involves conducting digital forensic investigations in support of ethics and employee concerns, performing evidence acquisition, preservation, and analysis in line with forensic best practices. Responsibilities include malware analysis, Windows registry examination, data carving, chain of custody maintenance, and producing clear, defensible investigative reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in forensic imaging, file signature analysis, static media analysis, data carving, and Windows registry forensics. Experience supporting OIG or legal investigations is valued, as is familiarity with the Federal Rules of Evidence. Knowledge of malware analysis and intrusion artifact examination is also expected.
