Digital Forensic Examiner 1

The Role

This position involves examining digital devices submitted as part of criminal investigations, recovering deleted or encrypted data, and preserving electronic evidence for use in court. Examiners also support field operations, maintain investigative networks, and may be required to testify as technical witnesses in legal proceedings.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should have knowledge of operating systems, file systems, and network communications. The role requires use of specialist forensic examination tools and techniques. Formal training is provided, with an expectation to pursue relevant certification in data recovery, operating system analysis, and network forensics.
