The Role

This position centres on examining digital devices such as phones, computers and routers to uncover and preserve evidence, supporting criminal investigations. Responsibilities include live data acquisition during searches, analysing investigative datasets, screening reports for digital leads, securing camera footage and requesting technical data from external providers.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should bring expertise in digital forensic investigation methodologies, including live forensics and data preservation techniques. Familiarity with investigative platforms such as Raffinaderij and Warehouse is relevant. The ability to analyse IP address data and liaise effectively with specialist units including the Team Digitale Opsporing is expected.
