The Role

The specialist conducts forensic examination of digital devices — including mobile phones, computers and routers — using advanced methodologies, performs live data acquisition during searches, analyses network and IP data, and secures complex evidence such as CCTV systems for criminal investigations across the West-Utrecht district.

Skills & Experience

Candidates require expertise in digital forensic investigation techniques, mobile device analysis, live forensics and data preservation. Experience liaising with specialist units such as digital investigation teams and financial investigators is expected, along with the ability to advise colleagues and transfer technical knowledge effectively.
