Digital Forensic Examiner

The Role

This position involves conducting forensic examinations of mobile devices, computers, hardware, software, and electronically stored data to support criminal investigations. Day-to-day duties include acquiring and analysing digital evidence, attending crime scenes, triaging devices on-site, collecting data from digital video recording systems, and providing expert witness testimony in court.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience in the full digital forensic lifecycle, covering identification, collection, preservation, acquisition, and analysis of electronic evidence. Familiarity with industry best practices, on-scene previewing and triage techniques, DVR data collection, and the preparation of evidence reports suitable for prosecution is essential.
