The Role

This position involves extracting and analysing digital evidence from mobile phones, tablets, GPS devices, computers, and storage media. Examiners document their methodology and findings, validate results using multiple tools, perform data recovery, and are expected to present their work as expert witnesses in court proceedings.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should be proficient with commercial forensic tools, hex editors, and data validation techniques. Practical skills in scripting, decoding, decryption, and SQL or database analysis are required to handle evidence not readily processed by standard toolsets. Prior laboratory or casework experience is expected.
