The Role
This position involves conducting digital forensic examinations in a law enforcement laboratory environment, supporting federal investigations. Day-to-day work includes acquiring and imaging digital devices, attending search warrant executions, analysing evidence using specialist tools, producing detailed reports, and occasionally testifying in court as an expert witness.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should bring at least five years of digital forensics experience, or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Hands-on proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cellebrite and Magnet Forensics is expected, alongside a strong understanding of evidentiary standards and forensic methodology. A government security clearance is required.
