The Role
The examiner takes full technical ownership of assigned forensic and eDiscovery matters from collection through reporting. Day-to-day work includes acquiring data from computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms and Microsoft 365 environments, analysing forensic artefacts to reconstruct user activity and timelines, and preparing clear, defensible written reports and investigative summaries for legal and corporate clients.
Skills & Experience
A minimum of three years of digital forensics experience is required, with hands-on proficiency in tools including Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, FTK, FTK Imager, RECON Imager, Forensic Email Collector, Microsoft Purview, ModeOne, and Everlaw. Strong technical writing skills, chain-of-custody discipline, and the ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
